1. Grubworms
Grubworms or grubs are root feeding larvae of many species of beetle. Having too many grubs places a target on your lawn for moles and causes wilting and eventually death for the lawn above.
2. Armyworms
When conditions are just right, armyworms will over populate to an extreme level and eat an entire lawn, down to the root, in less than 2 days. While rare, this last happened in 2021, this is by far the most destructive insect in our area. Preventing armyworms is the only effective control, by the time you see the damage it will already be too late.
3. Preventative Insect Control
By understanding the life cycles of insects we can best utilize the products we have and prevent damage to your lawn. This saves you money and protects the environment from contact insecticide treatments which are harmful to bees.
