Most Southall homeowners call me in July when they see large, brown circles appearing in their turf. They assume the heat or a missed irrigation cycle killed the grass, so they water more to compensate. This is a mistake. Because we are ornamental specialists, we have access to much fewer chemistries than golf courses. Once those strains become resistant, there is no backup. A healthy, disease-free lawn is much more resilient. When your grass isn't wasting energy fighting off fungus, it can actually handle the summer heat, foot traffic, and occasional dry spells much better.
