Lawn Disease & Fungus Control in Bowie Meadows, Fairview, TN

Most Bowie Meadows homeowners make the same mistake when they see brown patches. They assume the grass is thirsty, so they turn up the irrigation. In Middle Tennessee, more water often makes the problem worse. Excessive moisture increases spore production and carries infection downhill to the rest of your lawn. By the time you see the damage, the fungus has already stripped your grass of the resources it needs to survive the July heat.

A lawn fighting disease cannot handle anything else. It loses its ability to survive a week without water, foot traffic from a backyard barbecue, or even a mowing mistake. This is why I do things differently. Many companies offer low-tier plans that exclude fungicides, only to show up later and charge you double to fix the brown patch they knew was coming. I find that approach unethical. The label is the law, and the label says to treat preventively.

I include fungicides in every single one of my plans. I do not offer a lower tier because in our humidity, fungus is not an if, it is a when. I start my preventive applications in May, a full month before most companies even consider it. This keeps the disease populations controllable and prevents the resistant strains that make lawns impossible to save.
