Know Your Enemy
Before they Destroy Your Lawn
Complete and incomplete metamorphosis are two types of growth forms in insects. Complete metamorphosis occurs through four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. On the other hand, incomplete metamorphosis occurs through three stages: egg, nymph, and adult.
It's at the larva and nymph stages where insects do the damage to your lawn because that's when they're feeding. There are chewing bugs and there are sucking bugs. Some bugs go after roots, some go after shoots, and some go after both.
