That's why our approach to lawn care is heavily focused on making sure your soil is optimzed to support the moisture and nutrient requirements of your grass. These optimized growing conditions, along with proper mowing, are your primary defense against weeds. Applying herbicides is reserved as a supplemental activity as part of our Integrated Pest Management program.

According To The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service "Homeowners use up to 10 times more chemical pesticides per acre on their lawns than farmers use on crops." This overusage problem applies to fertilizer as well.

These practices lead to pollution from the excess chemicals that get washed into our rivers and streams through storm water drains.

Unfortunately, this is a problem in the industry as well. There are many landscaping / mowing services that are either not qualifed or don't take the time to solve the soil problem before reaching for the pesticides. Instead, they apply a one size fits all solution that includes the over use of herbicides to kill the weeds that your healthy lawn could have taken care of itself.

The end result is pollution that threatens our waterways and wildlife.

Our equipment is computer precision calibrated with independent wheel tracking velocity and independent nozzle pressures. This means that your lawn receives a uniform treatment of our ultra low volume applications (ULV).

ULVs ensure the fastest possible dry times (1 hour). This has the following key advantages: Less chance of accidental exposure to your small children and pets; Negating plant stress from an excessive dose of herbicides; Negating storm drain run off potential; avoiding unnecessary exposure to pollinators - even though all of our products are already safe for bees and butterflies.
